Cheshire 25 mile CTR Cheshire 12.5 mile CDR Sunday, April 24, 2022 HAS BEEN CANCELED! Due to difficulties with the trail, we are forced to cancel the ride. Thank you to Cate Peloquin and Helen and John Stacy for the work they had done so far.
A beautiful ride through the Cheshire Hunt country in the Brandywine Valley, the Cheshire Competitive Trail Ride winds its way over the rolling hills, through the woods and along the scenic byways of Unionville, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
It consists of two 12.5 mile loops for the CTR, and one loop for the CDR. The start, mid-point and finish are at one location, making it convenient for the holds and vet checks, since it is at headquarters, where your rig is parked.
While there are no stalls, overnight camping is available on-site for $5/night.
Sad News: Virginia Kelsall, one of the original organizers of the Cheshire for PAHA, passed away November 1, 2021. She was deeply devoted to the Cheshire and in the last days of her life was trying to get someone to take over the ride so that it could continue. Not sure of the criteria yet, but we will be giving an award in her memory at the ride.
